Academics sessions includes: Presentation of information covered in the text. There are two days of classroom sessions approximately 8 hours each for review of materials, quizzes and pool work. Each student is required to purchase a crew pack , read the book and complete the knowledge reviews prior to class. (Time differs from home study programs).

Pool Training:
In this part of the program we start with basic swim and snorkel skills and then move into the use of scuba equipment. Your instructor(s) are in the pool with you at all times and there is continuous student- instructor contact. We cover everything from equipment hook-up through the point where the student is ready for the Open Water Skill Evaluation. The training is based on performance requirements and your personal learning curve. There is no guarantee that student will not need additional training prior to the Openwater Dives.

At this point in your traing you are eligible to complete you Openwater training dives at a tropical destination or continue with us in beautiful Monterey California.

Openwater Training Dives:
This is the final step of your course and is completed in just two days. It is a repetition of all the skills learned in the pool but now they are performed in the open water. Upon completing the check-out dives successfully you will receive your PADI Certification.
